THIS week we asked our Clarets jury whether they were pleased with Burnley's first signing of the January transfer window. Here's what they had to say.

MATT RIGGS

I'm not going to pretend I know anything about him because I hadn't even heard of him until this news broke!

I've asked a few Tottenham supporting mates of mine about him and they seem to say the same thing, he's a pacy, skilful winger but with not much end product.

Both said he'd be best suited to a counter attacking team so if that is the case, I think he could do do quite well for us if he gets a run in the team. We're desperate for some pace so hopefully he will prove to be a good addition for us.

ANDREW GREENWOOD

I don’t know too much about him really but if he’s a pacey winger then he’s just what we need.

It will hopefully add another dimension to us a we have some tough fixtures coming up particularly at home.

It’s also sensible that he’s here on loan with a view to buying him in the summer. Let’s hope he gets a chance and grabs it!

AMER STANSFIELD-MUSHTAQ

When I heard signed Nkoudou I thought it was good news. I was delighted that we had finally brought in a genuine winger which I've wanted to see at Turf Moor for a while now.

His record suggests he is a chance creater which can only be good news for our strikers. I'm sure he will be desperate to impress the Tottenham manager to show that he can play well in this league in the future for Mauricio Pochettino he hasn't had many opportunities since joining Spurs and I look forward to seeing him.
