ACCRINGTON Stanley have decided to sign goalkeeper Sean Murdoch and defender Kern Miller.
Murdoch, a 24-year-old Scottish keeper from Hamilton Academical, joins on a one-year deal.
John Coleman was impressed with Murdoch’s performances in friendlies and the 24-year-old Scot, who has been with SPL side Hamilton for the past three seasons, will challenge with Ian Dunbavin for the keeper’s jersey.
Stanley had been in need of a keeper after first-choice stopper Alex Cisak joined Oldham.
Coleman has also decided to snap up Kern Miller on a six-month loan from Barnsley after the centre-back did well on trial.
The 20-year-old left footer, who could also play at left back if required, joined Barnsley on an 18-month contract in January after his deal at Lincoln expired at the end of 2010.
Miller arrived at Oakwell injured after suffering a broken jaw during a night out in Blackpool in December and did not appear for the first team under Mark Robins, who has now been replaced by Keith Hill.
