ACCRINGTON Stanley climbed to fifth in League Two after racing into a 3-0 lead before half time at home to Bradford City this afternoon.

Luke Joyce superbly curled the Reds in front when he found the top corner from 20 yards in the eighth minute and it was 2-0 only six minutes later as Andy Procter rifled home from Terry Gornell's pass.

Sean McConville then added a third just before half time, hooking home at the far post from Jimmy Ryan's long throw.

McConville might have made it 4-0 when he fired wide when clean through after the interval but Stanley moved back into the play-off places and above three of their promotion rivals as other results went their way.
