ACCRINGTON Stanley are set to complete their second signing of the summer after Luke Joyce opted to join the Reds rather than Darlington.
The 20-year-old Bolton-born midfielder was released by Carlisle last month and had been offered a more lucrative deal at Darlington.
But he is now expected to join Stanley in the next couple of days after deciding he wanted to move to a north west club.
Joyce’s arrival will come just days after the Reds signed 19-year-old centre back Dean Winnard on a one-year contract following his release from Blackburn Rovers.
