Former Liverpool youngster Joe Maguire has become Stanley’s fourth summer signing.
The full back has signed on a free transfer after leaving League One side Fleetwood Town in the summer.
The 23-year-old featured in Stanley’s pre-season friendly win over Marseille and has been training with the Reds this summer.
Maguire began his career with Liverpool and made one substitute appearance in an FA Cup tie against Exeter City in January 2016.
He joined Fleetwood in January 2017 but played just 12 times for the Cod Army, finishing last season with League Two side Crawley Town where he played 30 times.
Maguire will compete for the left back spot with Zaine Francis-Angol who joined from AFC Fylde over the weekend.
He is the club’s fourth summer signing after the arrivals of striker Colby Bishop from Leamington and midfielder Joe Pritchard from Bolton.
