Stanley have announced a pre-season against John Coleman’s former side, Sligo Rovers.
Coleman, alongside assistant manager Jimmy Bell, managed the club in 2014, while club captain Seamus Conneely spent three seasons at The Showgrounds.
The match, one of five to be announced by the Reds, will take place on Monday, July 8 (7.45pm) and is currently the earliest friendly to have been announced.
Sligo are now managed by Liam Buckley and currently occupy sixth place in the League of Ireland Premier Division table.
Stanley have already announced friendlies with Bala Town (July 20), Warrington Town (July 20) and Morecambe (July 27)
There are unlikely to be any friendly staged at the Wham Stadium this season because of the ongoing works to the ground, as well as the pitch, which came in for heavy criticism last season.
Stanley will learn their League One fixture list on Thursday, June 20 (9am).
