John Coleman is happy with the transfer business he has been able to do at Stanley in the January window.

The Reds welcome promotion chasers Blackpool to the Wham Stadium today as they go in search of their first league win in 2019.

Coleman has added goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov in a permanent deal and welcomed Liam Gibson (Newcastle), Luke Armstrong (Middlesbrough), Janoi Donacien (Ipswich) and Paul Smyth (QPR) on loan until the end of the campaign.

Stanley also extended the loan deal of Dan Barlaser (Newcastle) until the end of the season.

"I like to do my business early and it always baffles me when people are trying to get deals done at 10.55pm when they have had all month to do it," said Coleman.

"I think we have a strong set of players for the final push.

"You can only do what you think is best and I think we have assembled a decent squad, we will have to see how they perform on the pitch."
