ACCRINGTON Stanley winger Piero Mingoia has joined League Two Morecambe on loan until the end of the season.
The winger was part of the Stanley side who reached the play-offs in 2016, but has failed to force his way in to John Coleman's plans this season.
Mingoia left to spend two season at Cambridge United, but returned last summer.
Coleman told the club's website: “It’s a chance for him to get some games under his belt.
"The form of Sean McConville and Jordan Clark has meant that his game-time has been limited.
"Piero wants to play, he needs to play. He is a good character and he is not happy just sitting around.
"I obviously know Jim well and know Morecambe will look after him."
Morecambe sit 22nd in League Two, two points above the relegation zone.
Mingoia will be hoping to guide his new side to safety in the latter part of the season.
