ACCRINGTON STANLEY - 1
SOUTHEND UNITED - 1

Stanley fought back from a goal down against Southend as the points were shared at the Wham Stadium.
The Shrimpers took the lead through Stephen Humphrys in the first half and Stanley equalised early in the second half from a beautiful hit from Dan Barlaser.
Stanley came close to opening the scoring through captain Sean McConville.
The number 11 hit a free kick from 25-yards that required a full-stretch Nathan Bishop to turn behind for a corner.
Southend grew in to the game and could’ve opened the scoring in the 17th minute.
Stanley lost the ball in midfield and McLaughlin was played through down the left. He looked to square it when he should’ve had a go himself.
The Shrimpers took the lead in the 20th minute when the brave Humphrys beat Jonny Maxted to the ball and headed his side in front.
Both Maxted and Humphrys had to be replaced after a lengthy stoppage following a clash of heads.
The hosts went close to an instant reply as Paul Smyth fired a strike across goal and Elvis Bwomono was required to clear at the far post.
Smyth was involved for Stanley again as he set-up Billy Kee for a shot from the distance in the 34th minute.
The striker hit it well, but the effort went wide of the goal in front of the Southend supporters.
Southend were pushing to double their lead in the dying minute of the half as a corner was turned in to pinball in the area.
Stanley were eventually able to clear as the referee blew up for half time.
John Coleman’s side came out with intent in the second half and almost levelled things within two minutes of the restart.
McConville’s free kick fell to Kee six-yards out, but his rushed effort was blocked on the line by the Southend defence.
A Janoi Donacien long throw was met by the head of Michael Turner in the box, the ball dropped nicely for Callum Johnson to strike.
The right back did that and was unlucky as his effort went just a couple of yards wide.
A fantastic strike from Barlaser on the hour mark levelled proceedings.
The Newcastle loanee picked the ball up 20-yards out and fired a rocket past Bishop in to the left-hand side of the net.
It was a deserved equaliser from the home side after a bright start to the second half.
The tie was very much in the balance and you got a sense of either side being capable of picking up maximum points.
Both sides had big chances to take the lead after the 75th minute.
Smyth was freed in the area but his shot, from a tight angle, was saved by the sprawling Bishop.
Up the other end, the Shrimpers’ corner found Taylor Moore at the back post but he couldn’t steer it goal wards.
Simon Cox looked as though he was about to put his side back in front with 10 minutes left to play until Mark Hughes made a vital interception yards from goal.
