CHORLEY picked up the point needed to guarantee a place in the play-offs but they almost got away with a smash-and-grab raid until Garforth’s last minute equaliser.
In truth, it was the least the home side deserved after an impressive second half fight back.
A trademark opportunist strike by Steve Foster after 22 minutes put Chorley ahead when he neatly lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box.
Adam Roscoe nearly added a second but hit the bar.
But Garforth soon had the upper hand and skipper Darren Kelly scored a deserved equaliser in the final minute.
