CHORLEY play host to UniBond First Division North leaders Curzon Ashton looking to an avenge a 5-0 drubbing earlier in the season and boost their own play-off ambitions.
The Magpies have won just three of their last 10 league matches but manager Steve Waywell insists his side are good enough to finish in the top five.
“There is still a long way to go and there are plenty of points to play for,” said Waywell.
“We’re currently mid-table and, to be honest, I would much rather be higher in the table at this stage of the season.
“But I think we are continuing to improve as a team and finishing in the play-offs has got to be the target for us.”
Chorley are going through something of a sticky patch at the moment and haven’t won in three matches – and Curzon is a test as tough as they come in this division.
“It is going to be tough because Curzon are a very good team and have a settled side.
"But we owe them one for that hammering at their place earlier in the season.”
