VETERAN Chorley defender Martin Clark is happy to carry on playing now that his knee problems have been sorted out on the operating table.
Clark, who will be 39 in September, said: “When my knee went in October I thought it was going to be cartilage trouble and I honestly thought I would be hanging my boots up.
“I have never been out for this long in my whole career, but since i had the keyhole op I should be back in a few weeks and I can look forward to playing at least another season.”
