SEAN Dyche says he has 'no choice' but to rotate his squad for Saturday's FA Cup third round clash at Manchester City.

After a hectic Premier League schedule over Christmas and New Year both managers are set to ring the changes at the Etihad Stadium.

Dyche's team selection will be further hampered by a minor hamstring injury Scott Arfield picked up on Thursday morning, while neither Chris Wood nor Stephen Ward are ready to return from their own lay-offs.

Asked if he would be rotating in the cup, Dyche said: "We’ll have to on this occasion. We have lost players.

"We picked up another niggly one which means Scott Arfield will probably miss out.

"We have to (rotate). We have no choice. The players have played two games in three days, the bulk of them.

"They are, as much as I work them hard and their will to work hard, humans and I don’t forget that.

"Scott has a minor hamstring. Nothing major but he’s had to come out of training. We will see how that settles down but it’s so close to the game it’s improbable.

"(Woody) is settling down, but not for this weekend. Ward is going well but not for this weekend."
