OUR Clarets jury discuss the big issues at Turf Moor and with the festive fixtures almost upon us we look at what kind of Christmas Burnley are in for.

It's a really tough run of games, made tougher by James Tarkowski's impending three match ban. A win at Huddersfield and draws against Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool would be fantastic.

To achieve that, however, we'd need to improve on the two previous performances against Stoke and Brighton. We seem to up our game against the so called bigger teams, though, so hopefully this will be the case again.

Well, they have a pleasing habit of surprising us when we think we have tough games. Realistically, you’d say four draws would be good results, but if we could pick a couple of wins up then that would be great.

On paper, the easiest one is Huddersfield away but even that is a tough game. With the way the defence is playing, if we could pinch a goal in the home games against Spurs and Liverpool, then there’s no reason why we can’t go on to win them.

When the fixture list was first announced, those festive matches would have made Clarets fans nervous, barring the trip to Huddersfield. However our performances against the bigger teams this season both home and away has given me confidence going into the Christmas period.

We were poor against Huddersfield in the reverse fixture but I expect a win this month. I think this team is capable of getting three points from the other games so I think we can accumulate six points over the games.
