NICK Pope has made it an October double for the Clarets after being nominated for the Premier League player of the month award.
Pope's nomination for the honour comes after boss Sean Dyche was placed in the frame for the manager of the month gong after Burnley won two and drew one of their four games during October.
That success owed plenty to stand-in stopper Pope, who has excelled in the side since replacing the injured Tom Heaton.
He kept two clean sheets during October, in the 1-0 wins over Everton and Newcastle, and made a total of 21 saves in the four games.
Pope faces competition for the award from Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane, Arsenal's Nacho Monreal, Glen Murray of Brighton and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

The vote closes at 11.59pm on Monday (November 6) with the winner announced on Friday.
