STEVE Hoyle of Rossendale Harriers is the latest member of the Bob Graham Round Club'.
To be successful, Hoyle had to negotiate a 72- mile circuit of 42 Lakeland Peaks within 24 hours. Starting and finishing at the Moot Hall in Keswick, he completed his trek in an amazing 20 hours 49 minutes to become the second successful Harrier this summer after Mick Howard. His support team included many Harriers, including first timers Andy Buttery, Jon Ferguson and Andy Preedy.
"It was an awesome run by Steve who didn't seem to have a bad patch all day" said club mate Nick Harris. "Well done Steve from everyone at the club." There are now 16 Rossendale Harriers with a successful Bob Graham Round to their credit.
