CHRIS Davis and Joe Waller powered to top-40 finishes in the Sunday’s Bolton 10k.
Blackburn Harriers’ Davis was 16th in 37 minutes 50 seconds followed by Rossendale Harriers’ Waller in 33rd in 40mins 6secs.
Trawden AC’s Mark Fawcett was 78th in 43mins 49secs and Accrington Road Runners’ David Sagar 83rd in 44mins 13secs.
Darwen Dashers’ Barry Shackleton was the second-fastest M55 and 137th overall in 47mins 48secs while his clubmate Carol Butterworth was the third-fastest F45 and 155th overall in 48mins 37secs.
Another Darwen Dashers member, Karen Atherton, was the third-fastest F50 and 276th overall in 53mins 19secs.
Kevin O’Brien was the sole Clayton-le-Moors Harriers runner on show, finishing 443rd in 1hour 43secs.
Catherine Collin, of Darwen Running Group, came 525th in 1hour, 5mins 5secs.
