Whalley Golf Club was the venue for the Accrington Rotary Club Young Golfer Competition.
Over 40 young people, both male and female, entered and the weather was perfect for golf. There was some excellent golf on show and it was left to Fairfield duo Josef Pownell and Emily Shea to pick up the top boy and girl prizes.
Overall winner Pownell was thrilled to be presented with the trophy by the new President of Accrington Rotary, Malcolm Baldwin.
The Accrington Rotary Young Golfer Competition event will be held again next year.
