SAM Vokes made his second Clarets debut as a second half substitute, as Burnley made it three straight wins in pre-season.
The targetman, who spent two months on loan at Turf Moor last season, was reunited with old team-mates hours after signing a three-year deal.
He came close to capping the night with a goal.
But instead second-half efforts from Keith Treacy, George Porter and Ross Wallace left Bath well beaten, despite Burnley not being at their best.
The Clarets had plenty of chances in the first half but couldn't take them.
Treacy broke the deadlock in the 56th minute with a long-range effort before manager Eddie Howe made wholesale outfield changes.
There was confusion at the restart as Adie Harris unintentionally lobbed goalkeeper Brian Jensen, but after allowing the goal to stand, the referee instructed Bath to allow Burnley to regain the lead.
Porter went forward unchallenged and scored after the keeper stopped his initial tame effort.
Burnley, playing with three centre halves from that point looked more of a threat going forward, with Luke O'Neill and Joseph Mills operating as wing backs.
But it wasn't until the 89th minute that Wallace wrapped up the win with a left-foot drive into the bottom corner.
Meanwhile, Martin Paterson missed the game after taking a minor knee knock in training.
