PADIHAM boss Steve Wilkes admits it will be a "trip into the unknown" as the Storks face Ashton Town at the Arbories on Saturday.
But Wilkes says the game is of huge importance as it will be Padiham's first league game for three weeks after their involvement in the various cups.
Subsequently, the Storks have slipped down the table despite having games in hand.
He said: "This is a big game for us because last time we played in the league we got beat and that was three weeks ago. We need to get the three points and start climbing the league."
Padiham's FA Vase first round clash at home to FC United on Saturday, October 7 (3pm) is an all-ticket match.
Tickets go on sale today at Padiham Town Hall, and from the ground tomorrow.
