Mark Wright, 28, from Barnoldswick, has defied all odds and qualified for the V8 Hotstox World Final taking place at Northampton International Raceway tomorrow.
Mark nicknamed "The Scavenger" races under number 356, which he proudly bears as a tribute to his father's Stockcar days in the 70's.
He only started racing the V8's three months ago and has had a phenomenal start to his career. With no previous race experience under his belt, he has notched up three race wins so far.
