READ and Clitheroe clubbed together to do their bit as they boosted the coffers of Cancer Research UK during their derby.
The Whalley Road club declared the match ‘Wear It Pink’ day with raffles and collections taking place.
Clitheroe made a donation and Read players Stu Hornby and Jon Harvey and Clitheroe’s Josh McDowell donated their collections from their half-centuries or five-wicket hauls to the charity.
The day raised around £700.
