PADIHAM went down 4-0 at at New Mills in a scoreline that flattered the leaders.
There was little to separate the sides in the opening 38 minutes before Dean Crowe nipped in between two Storks defenders to open the scoring then added a second in first half stoppage time.
Padiham bossed the opening exchanges of the second half before Michael Bowler blasted in number three and Carlos Meakin tapped in a fourth late on.
