JAY Rodriguez returns from the hip injury that kept him out of Tuesday's defeat at Nottingham Forest in place of the suspended Marvin Bartley.
The midfielder starts the first of a three-match ban after the Clarets decided against appealing the controversial decision because video evidence was inconclusive.
Rodriguez is likely to partner Nathan Delfouneso up front as Burnley bid to end their six-game winless run at home to high-flying Swansea City, during which they have scored only once in the last four.
Fourth-place Swansea still have designs on automatic promotion, but the Clarets are aiming to inject life into fading play-off hopes.
Again, Graham Alexander will have to come off the bench if he is to make his 1000th career appearance today.
