"We have signed him for the next two years which shows our commitment to him and we believe he will grow as a cricketer.
"The key is to try and start well, that is something we have not done too well in recent years.
"Umar and Abdul Saddique are losses but we have some lads in who look good and we’ll see where it takes us."
Prediction: It’s the end of an era at the Arbories this year as Kashif Siddique breaks his association with Padiham – but in Chris Holt they have a top performer. Holt is a class act – will win a few games on his own.
