CHRIS Samba has urged Blackburn Rovers fans to help make Ewood Park ‘hell’ for Birmingham City as he stresses the importance of returning to winning ways.

Rovers’ skipper believes their four remaining home games will prove pivotal in their battle to beat the Premier League drop, starting with Saturday’s visit of the Midlanders.

After Birmingham, Manchester City, Bolton and Manchester United are still to come to Ewood this season but, having lost just seven of their last 40 home games, Samba knows there is no need to fear anyone.

He said: “The home games are the key now. We know what we can do at home, we need the crowd to be like hell, we need us to be like we were on Saturday.

"Work hard, never stop and that is what we need to get the three points.

“We don't have to count on others, it is in our hands.”
