BARNOLDSWICK returned to winning ways with a morale-boosting win at lowly Formby.

Following successive defeats to Maine Road and Padiham, Town stopped the mini slump thanks to second half goals from debutant Ben Mousley and Liam Garbutt.

Barlick, with eight first team regulars missing, started brightly and Damon Whelan and then Garbutt both went close.

After the break, Aaron Hollindrake was denied by an but Town turned the game in a five minute spell.

Mousley, on as a second half sub, marked his debut with a goal in the 72nd minute and Garbutt made it 2-0 in the 77th minute before Andrew McCoy pulled on back for Formby in the 83rd minute.
