NEW CAPTAINS Bette and Jeff Livesey at Oak Royal Golf Club
HUSBAND and wife Jeff and Bette Livesey, from Pleckgate, have driven into office as captains of nine-hole Oak Royal Golf and Country Club in Withnell.
Former policeman Jeff will continue to oversee competitions and Bette, a retired care assistant, is determined to recruit more lady members.
“The members are very friendly and we both feel we want to give something back to the game,” said Bette.
