NICK Dougherty is reunited with Blackburn-born coach Damian Taylor as he looks to reignite his career.

The 28-year-old Shaw Hill professional is in the midst of a disastrous run of form that has seen his world ranking tumbled to 375th.

But he hopes that teaming up with former coach Taylor – son of legendary snooker star Dennis Taylor – will help see a revival in fortunes.

“I’m now back with Damian, who knows my swing, knows me. He knows I can get impatient or carried away with things. It is the right thing to do, working together again,” said Dougherty, who should return to action for next week’s Sicilian Open after a broken hand ruled him out of the Dubai Desert Classic.
