UNDER-strength Clitheroe aim to bounce back from a bad week when they hit the road to Radcliffe Borough in the Evo-Stik League First Division North tomorrow.
Peter Smith’s Blues have not won since a 4-1 thumping of Durham City on February 1 – and in the four games since they have shipped a dozen goals.
The manager is aware his resources are limited with injuries and suspensions biting but he remains upbeat ahead of the trip to Radcliffe, and said:“You can sometimes get away with it but when you have injuries and suspensions the big squads come in handy. We don’t have a big enough squad to cope, and we’re not a club that can afford to carry 20-plus players in the squad.
“We have shown a bit of character this season and we will continue with that.”
