ACCRINGTON Stanley defender Phil Edwards hopes to use distraction tactics to prevent Billy Kee from marking his return to the Crown Ground with a goal tomorrow.
Kee scored nine goals for Stanley on a season-long loan from Leicester last term and currently has seven during the current campaign after joining Torquay on a permanent basis in the summer.
And Stanley centre back Edwards knows keeping his friend and former team-mate quiet tomorrow could be vital to the outcome.
“If we stop Billy scoring I think we’ll stop them from scoring to be honest,” said Edwards.
“I’ll be trying to chat to him to put him off his game because I think you can do that to him. I’ll be in his ear!”
