Charlie Barnett's 12th minute strike ensured Accrington Stanley could go in level at the break with Crewe Alexandra in their League Two game tonight.
The Reds, who enjoyed a fine win at Wycombe on Saturday, fell behind after just eight minutes at the Crown Ground when Byron Moore put Crewe ahead.
But just four minutes later the Reds were level through Barnett.
