BURNLEY FC have won an award in recognition of match-day security at Turf Moor.
The club scooped the Football League Family Excellence Award for the 2010/11 season.
The award, which was based on a range of match day criteria, reflects the efforts of G4S staff who provide stewarding for the club’s home matches.
Mark Hamilton, managing director of G4S Events, said: “G4S has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Burnley FC and we are proud to have played a part in enabling Burnley to achieve this award.”
