BLACKBURN Rovers manager Steve Kean hailed the debut of Schalke loanee Jermaine Jones and warned Premier League defences there is more to come from the combative midfielder.
Jones played the entire 90 minutes in the centre of the park and Kean believes it won’t be long before he shows why he was so highly rated before the last couple of injury-ravaged seasons.
Kean said: “He is not even fully fit but he has got everything.
"I said to him to save his legs towards the end and sit in front of the centre backs but he finds that difficult.
“He wants to go and tackle and join in and I thought his passing and the way he kept the ball for us was fantastic.
“I think he was a £10million player before he picked up his injuries.
"With his performance today and, with another couple of performances under his belt, I think he will be fantastic for us.”
