COLNE will be eager to kick-off their home campaign with a win when they entertain Curzon Ashton at Holt House tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Manager Nigel Coates was disappointed that his side could not build on the early lead they established at Stone Dominoes on the opening day on Saturday.
Instead they went into the break 2-1 down and had to rely on a last-minute equaliser to avoid defeat.
But, despite having Steve Cunningham and Jason Heffernan suspended tonight, Coates is keen to get on the winning track tonight.
"We started brightly on Saturday but took our foot off the gas after scoring," the Colne boss said.
"We reacted well to the half-time team-talk but after scoring three away from home we shouldn't be coming back with just a point."
