ROSSENDALE United slumped to the foot of Vodkat League Premier Division after a demoralising defeat to fellow strugglers Ashton.
The Dark Lane side some-how contrived to turn victory into defeat after conceding a last minute goal.
In a nervy first half, Proctor was called in to action early on in the Dale goal before the home side responded with Jason Hart firing just wide.
But the match improved after the break and David Bradburn drilled home a long range effort to give Dale a 56th minute lead.
But an unmarked Martin Ormesher drew the sides level in the 78th minute before Colin Quirke blasted home an injury time winner for Ashton.
