ICY-COLD beer was in plentiful supply for Burnley's thirsty fans last night.
Expecting heavy demand for amber nectar, the Sport Hotel Veronello drafted in six kegs of ale to keep supporters happy while watching the Clarets.
It came as no surprise that gasping fans drank the hotel dry on Tuesday evening, when temperatures hit a roasting 90 degrees during Burnley's first Italian friendly.
At that game, around 150 supporters got through a mammoth 150 litres of beer, before jumping into taxis back to Bardolino and beyond.
Bottles of water were also sold in good numbers as the hotel's cash tills kept on ringing.
