EAGER Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman will use his side's trip to Scotland to finalise his line-up for the big kick-off next Saturday.
The Reds are just eight days away from making their historic return to the Football League.
And games against Partick Thistle tomorrow and East Fife on Monday night will be the perfect stage for Coleman to finalise his starting line-up for their first game at Chester City on August 5.
"The first team squad will travel to Scotland," he said.
"I've got my mind set at what I want defensively.
"Maybe we'll see them together in the next couple of games.
"There are certain things that I'm looking for out of players and there were certain things that I saw the other night (against Blackpool) that pleased me and that might help me finalise my squad.
"Up to now I've got the quality that I was looking for.
"I'd still like to bring a striker in. It just seems that every trialist we bring in is a midfielder.
"We seem to be Midfielder R Us' at the moment.
"But I know we've got a lot of quality. We've got a lot of flair going forward and I think we can surprise a few teams this year.
"I think I have a lot of options this year, and I think I'm quite lucky in having a lot of players who are versatile as well. They can write with both hands!
"But sometimes that helps you maybe not carry a big squad when you know players can play in quite a few positions."
