The progress of Burnley's young Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty has impressed his manager Steve Cotterill.
"He's coming along nicely at the moment," said Cotterill, who is delighted to have the teenager in his ranks.
"If ever you want a youth player to come through your ranks, and get in your team, believe me, you want a striker.
"They are the hardest ones to find, the most expensive to buy, the most expensive to pay, and if you've got one that's come through your system, it's the best thing that can happen to you.
"We don't have lads coming through every year. We didn't have anyone last year we thought could have gone on and pushed the players we have.
"But the year before, we jumped Kyle and Chris (McCann) quicker than they were meant to, and they've have done well."
