AFTER all the build-up, hype and excitement, events so far in South Africa have been about as entertaining as a Stoke City home match.
Where are all the great goals, the sublime skills and the moments that will live with you forever? Fingers crossed the best is yet to come.
With Brazil, Spain, Portugal and the Ivory Coast still to play, there is still hope for the first round of matches but they don't have a lot to live up to.
Some are suggesting the caution that has been shown throughout is down to the increased quality in some of the lesser nations. I haven't see much evidence to back that up.
For me, the first few games have simply been littered with average players and cautious tactics. If it wasn't for the shocking goalkeeping on show, we would be struggling for any goals at all.
Things can only get better.
