STEVE Cotterill admits there is a possibility of adding fresh faces to his squad before one of Burnley's transfer-listed players move on.

Due to tight financial constraints, the Clarets boss has worked primarily to a one-out, one-in basis this summer.

It meant Cotterill must sell one of his four unwanted players, Duane Courtney, Micah Hyde, Danny Karbassiyoon and Gifton Noel-Williams, before drafting in new signings.

But that policy was relaxed to welcome in versatile defender Stephen Foster from Crewe Alexandra on a two-year deal last week.

Cotterill revealed there could be scope to bring in another recruit, but insists quality free transfers are hard to find.

"I don't know if we could bring in another," said Cotterill. "It depends on what players come available.

"If it's a player that will improve us, then it's worth talking to the chairman about it.

"But as it stands, good players on free transfers are very difficult to find."
