DEFENDER Phil Jones has signed a new long-term contract with Blackburn Rovers.
The 18-year-old has penned a five-year deal that sees him contracted to the Ewood Park club until the summer of 2015.
Jones, a product of the Rovers Academy, signed his first professional contract with Blackburn in September 2009.
Now the teenager has been rewarded further after a string of superb performances in the heart of Blackburn's defence over the past two months.
