Transfer-listed Burnley striker Gifton Noel-Williams is still being courted by Brighton boss Mark McGhee.
The tall striker is on McGhee's wanted-list, although the 26-year-old indicated he would prefer to stay in the Championship.
But McGhee is considering a move taking the former Watford forward to the League One South Coast outfit.
Noel-Williams impressed during a loan spell with the Seagulls towards the end of last season, scoring twice in seven league games.
"Gifton is on our list, as are a few other players," said McGhee.
"We obviously need a striker, but then we've been saying that for ages.
"I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm confident, but we'll be trying our best to get someone in."
Other clubs are speculated to be interested in Noel-Williams, including Leicester City and Nottingham Forest.
