ACCRINGTON Stanley slipped to a fifth consecutive home defeat thanks to an injury time goal from Hereford United's Gavin McCallum this afternoon.

Stanley, who had collected only one point from their previous seven games, stuck with the same side that lost 2-1 at home to Port Vale in midweek but went behind when McCallum scored from the edge of the box in the 35th minute.

Michael Symes levelled from the penalty spot three minutes after half time following Ryan Valentine's handball, but McCallum was on hand to grab Hereford's winner from close range in the third minute of stoppage time.
