GIFTON Noel-Williams is desperate to add to his "disappointing" two-goal haul and end the season on a high.
The striker admits he has no excuses for not finding the net since August, despite finding himself playing second fiddle to Ade Akinbiyi for much of the season.
Noel-Williams has been given a starting role in three of the last four games alongside new strike partner Michael Ricketts.
And as Burnley prepare to host Championship leaders Reading, the former Stoke hitman is looking to rediscover the form that bagged him nine goals in 16 games for City towards the end of last season.
"It's not really a good excuse for me to say I haven't been involved enough," said Noel-Williams. "Obviously I haven't started as many games as I would like, but I haven't been satisfied with myself this season.
"In front of goal I haven't done what I really came here to do, so it's been disappointing from a personal point of view, but hopefully I can grab a few before the end of the season, put it to bed and start next year again."
