MIDFIELD maestro Ian Craney admits he will be raring to go against Gravesend and Northfleet tonight despite playing 90 minutes for the England National Game XI side just 48 hours before.

The Accrington Stanley ace played a starring role in the European Challenge Trophy game against Italy, while team-mate Gary Roberts came off the bench for the final 25 minutes and crossed for the final goal in a 3-1 win.

But Craney is confident that he won't be showing any signs of fatigue as the Reds look to extend their lead at the top of the Conference to 14 points and increase their unbeaten league run to 14 games.

"I'm feeling great," he said. "I had a good rest yesterday so I can't wait for tonight now.

"You want to keep playing all the time, especially when you're winning because you don't feel the physical part of it you're on that much of a high."

Meanwhile, Stanley manager John Coleman, who watched the international at Cambridge United on Wednesday with his assistant Jimmy Bell to monitor their players' progress, believes his troops are in for a tough game tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It is a big game for us and with a headstart on the rest of the Conference it would be nice to win it," he said.

"But I'm sure they'll have other ideas about that because they're pushing for a play-off place. It should make for an entertaining game.

"I don't think they'll sit in like other teams have against us."
