ACCRINGTON Stanley striker Michael Symes has emerged as a target for Preston – and new Deepdale boss Darren Ferguson could make a bid for the 26-year-old this week.
Ferguson has a limited amount a money to spend before the transfer window slams shut on Monday and sent scouts to watch the 14-goal Symes last night as Stanley faced Aldershot.
Stanley have knocked back two bids from Grimsby but North End could match the Reds’ valuation for the talisman.
