BURNLEY slipped to another away defeat as they were beaten at Wolves in the Premier League this afternoon.

Nenad Milijas put the hosts in front in the 15th minute after Clarets keeper Brian Jensen had parried Matt Jarvis' effort.

Jensen saved from Kevin Doyle and Clarke Carlisle limped off to be replaced by Michael Duff before half time.

But Wolves made it 2-0 five minutes into the second half when Doyle shrugged off challenges from Steven Caldwell and Duff before finding the net.

Caldwell had a header cleared off the line by Kevin Foley but Jensen had to deny Sylvan Ebanks-Blake before Steven Fletcher missed a fine chance late on from Wade Elliott’s cross.
