Clitheroe put their play-off credentials on the line at home to a Bamber Bridge side also looking for a top five finish.

And Pete Smith’s side will have to unlock the meanest defence in the division who have conceded just nine goals all season.

However, confidence is high at Shawbridge on the back of a six-match unbeaten run which includes five wins and a draw.

“Bamber Bridge have conceded very few goals so we know it is going to be difficult,” said Smith who will be without full back Conor Kavanagh.

“But we will continue to play our attacking game and see what happens.

“We are on a very good run at the moment. We’ve got a young set of lads and it is case of them just going out there and enjoying themselves.”
