BARNOLDSWICK Town are chasing glory on two fronts.

The Vodkat League new boys have set their sights on promotion to the Premier League and the Division One Trophy.

Town travel to Eccleshall tomorrow with co-manager Ben Hall insisting both are as important as each other.

“We will be treating this cup game just like a league fixture,” said Hall, who runs the team with Stewart Airdrie and Kevin Richardson.

“It’s nice to get away from having to worry about picking up three points but we think we can win this competition and will be putting out a strong side.”

Town, currently third in the First Division, are without keeper Billy Carrington so new signing Rob Batty will deputise between the sticks.

Fellow new signings, Joe Shelmerdine and Liam Britton are in contention for a place in the starting line-up.

“We are having a great season and we’re on a decent run at the moment,” added Hall.
